I just read the comment from Mohammed Khalid, and yes I remember the Bull, and I have a feeling that you were in my class too. Also, my friend Rukshana and I went to bake and decorate the large cake for the school the celebrate the Silver Jubilee. I have very fond memories of the school, because I started at Arden Primary School when I was 8, and left Kenya and the circumstances were very sad. So my teacher was wonderful and I felt that she looked out for me, because she knew that everything was very new to me and I found it very hard. I also made my first long skirt, and saw Santa at Arden. Thank you so much for my wonderful memories, and what a fantastic school. Love to you all.

I was the Electrical Supervisor for Balfour Kilpatrick when the new school was built. I have fond memories of the helpful staff and children. It is good to see that having such a great school has made such a difference to so many people. Keep up the great work!

I left Arden in 1989. Mr. Jones, Mrs. Owen, and Mrs. Winwood were among the best teachers i ever had. I remember Mr. Jones making us memorise the maths times-table and whoever memorised it upto 10, was rewarded a with a book. Arden always had this history of changing its view during the summer holidays. I am now a Lecturer at Mirpur University of Science and Technology, Mirpur, Pakistan. Thanks, you have really polished me to become a good caring teacher just like you.

Wow arden has certainly changed for the best. I was a pupil at arden once and have had some amazing memories at arden. Really, an excellent school. I'm in year 9 now even though i left arden at the beginning of year 6 and i moved to another school i still think that arden is absolutenly the best. i was looking through the pics of the teachers and i still remember some teachers like mr jones.

I left last year but the school is a happy, safe environment for both kids and adults. There are and will be many activities for parents' and childrens'. Also the teachers are brill! I left Arden Primary in 1977. Those were the days, some amazing memories of some fantastic events and teachers, in particular Mr. A.F.W.Hickman, my form tutor! Does anyone remember the bull that got lose and escaped from the delivery track that was taking it to the slaughter house? It ran down Baker Street and found it's way into the playground of the school, amid a hoard of screaming kids enjoying their playtime. It charged at the kids and teachers who ran back into the building. Then the bull made a dash for the east side entrance of the back playground and smashed it's head on the concrete pillar that supported the gate, cracked the pillar in half... I was but two feet away from it when it happened! Eventually, someone with a stun-gun was called out to put it to rest, and then carried it back to the track. It became the talk of Arden for months on end! Keep up the good work folks!.

I remember being in year 1 and how the school was then. Now i'm in year 6. I'm glad i got to be at Arden when it finished.Thank you for all the great things Mr Lacey. The school grand opening was great. I enjoyed meeting Satnam Rana and it was amazing when she cut the ribbon and drummers preformed in front of the school and i was one of the dancers it was extraordinary.
