School Event: De-Coder Club Visit Harborne

On Wednesday 6th April Mr Ghinai took his De-Coder Club on a day visit to Harbourne.

The children met members of the Moorpool Residents Association who guided them around Harbourne Walkway to the Nature Reserve. They got to see how a little bit of countryside in the city compares with inner-city Sparkhill and even made scarecrows!

Later in the day the children visited Birmingham University’s Great Hall and walked around the campus.

The idea of the day was to raise children’s aspirations and to inspire their learning and achievement. It was a very interesting and informative day for the children and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
