School Event: Reception Trip to Hatton Country Park

As part of our topic, Reception went on their very first trip.

The children had already been learning about animals and were very excited to see them in the great outdoors.

For the first time, the children held different animals, fed the goats, watched an owl demonstration and stroked the guinea pigs. They pretended to be farmers for the day and had a ride on Tristan the Tractor.

They had a fantastic day.

Reception met Hatton’s Owl.		Fun on the climbing frame.
We had fun at the adventure playground.		We watched our goat Ellie win the race!
