School Event: Year 1 Trip to the Nature Centre

In October, our Year 1 children enjoyed a great day out at the Nature Centre. They had an interesting and exciting time, as you can see from the photographs below.

We explored the environment, looking for living and non-living things.		We found a worm. We were very careful and treated it with respect.
Coming face to face with a goat!		We learnt about different kinds of birds and where in the world they come from.
We saw lots of stuffed animals in the classroom. It was really interesting.		Mrs. Colley told us all about nature and animals - she's like David Attenborough!
