School Event: SpeedMark Sponsored Fun Day

SpeedMark was a challenging sponsored fun day in school.

SpeedMark are endorsed by The PFA and the day involved every child in school taking three penalties into an undefended inflatable football goal. The speed of the penalty kick was measured and recorded by radar.

Here are some of our fastest penalty takers with the speed of some of their shots recorded in mph. Money raised by the event has helped to fund new equipment for the children’s physical education.

Reception hot shots scored 27 and 18 mph.		Winning hot shots from 1E scored 25 and 30 mph.
2F achieved 25, 23 and 30 mph.		3H winning scorers with 34, 36, 26 and 31 mph.
4L hot shots achieved 29 and 40 mph.		Scores from 5N were 44, 40 and 37 mph.
Hot shots from 6P, pictured here with Mr Cooper, scored 44, 44, 33 and 33 mph respectively.		The SpeedMark challenge radar checks the speed of the ball as it leaves your foot.
